The Strathdale Community Centre located in the bush surrounds of Strathdale Park, on Crook Street. Its main hall can fit approximately 300 people. Strathdale Park Playspace is located at the intersection of McIvor Highway and Crook Street.  It has good parking and can be accessed by foot or bicycle from Condon Street via Kennington Reservoir along the Grassy Flat Creek Trail.  The playspace is not just good for kids, but is perfect for families with its BBQ spaces, walking paths, and a lake. A continuous accessible path is provided to the playspace from street parking on Crook Street or the Crook Street car park.
